Nightwick is a one-thumb survival roguelite where your lantern is everything. Its light burns every ghost it touches, but the flame is fed by oil, and oil is your life. Get hurt and your circle of light shrinks. Let it go out and the night is lost.
LIGHT IS EVERYTHING • Ghosts only take shape inside your light. In the dark you’ll see nothing but their eyes. • Tombstones cast real shadows, and anything hiding behind one is safe from your flame. • The brighter you burn, the stronger you are. Run low and the darkness closes in.
BUILD YOUR LANTERN • Collect soul flames and choose a blessing each time you level up. • Sweep the night with a Searchlight, trail burning Embers, summon circling Jack-o’-Lanterns, send out Banishing Pulses, or set a Lantern Crow on the hunt. • Light old candles to claim safe ground. Inside their glow, your oil lasts.
HOLD TILL DAWN • Each night lasts six minutes, with ghost tides, Lighteaters that devour your light, and The Faceless Maw waiting before sunrise. • Earn coins every night and spend them on lasting upgrades. • Unlock four cemeteries, each with its own rules: fog, a blood moon, and a forest with no oil at all.
